Getting on the WhatsApp Business API takes four things: a verified Meta Business Account, an eligible phone number, a compliant display name, and a platform to connect it to. The technical connection is minutes. Business verification is the variable — it can be same-day if your documents are in order, or take several days if Meta asks for more. Template approval is usually quick but is not guaranteed, so submit anything time-sensitive early.
