Detailing studio software built for ceramic coating, PPF and paint correction
Quote from paint depth readings, hold the bay with a deposit, photograph every stage, bill the extra work the customer approved on WhatsApp, and get the coating back for its annual inspection — on one system, on your own WhatsApp number.
Not a wash-bay POS with a detailing label on it.
- Full studio setup from ₹1,999/month
- 14-day trial — no card required
- Free plan available to try the job card and photo record
- Your own WhatsApp number: Meta bills you directly, we add no markup
A detailing studio does not lose money on the wash. It loses it in four places.
High-ticket work breaks two assumptions a wash-bay system is built on: the sale closes days before the car arrives, and the bay — not demand — is the thing you are selling.
The quote is a guess
Correction is priced off how the paint looks in the sun. Nobody measured it, so nobody knows whether the clear coat can take a cut — and if it burns through, the studio buys the respray.
The bay is booked on a promise
A PPF job holds a room for four days. The diary says "Thursday" for three cars and one of them is going to be told to come back — usually the one who already paid.
The extra work never gets billed
You find the swirl marks after the wash and the stone chips once the film is off. The customer left hours ago. The ask happens on a phone call, gets a maybe, and is forgotten by handover.
The coating never comes back
A five-year coating is five scheduled visits at near-pure margin. Without a reminder tied to the cover, year two never happens — and the customer finds out their warranty lapsed when they need it.
What you get, and which plan it starts on
Every card names the plan it starts on. A full studio setup is Starter and above; the free plan is the bio-link tier, and carries the job card, paint readings, the photo record and warranty tracking but not your own WhatsApp number or GST invoicing.
Paint depth readings on intake
Record a paint thickness gauge reading in microns for each of 13 panels, and get a safe/caution/unsafe verdict on machine correction before you touch the car.
- Thirteen panels in the order a detailer walks the car — horizontals, then sides, then bumpers.
- Bumpers are classified against a plastic substrate, so flex primer does not read as a respray.
- Elevated readings flag a likely repaint at intake — the record that stops a later claim that you caused it.
- Bands are conventional trade working ranges, tenant-editable, and shown as a prompt to look closer rather than a verdict.
Deposits that actually gate the work
Require an advance before a job can start, collected by a payment link, with the balance derived from the payment ledger rather than typed into a column.
- Work cannot be started on a booking whose deposit is not covered — it is a gate, not a note.
- Approved add-ons are counted into what is outstanding, so extra work cannot show as "nothing due".
- Only the requirement is stored; paid and balance are always computed from completed payments.
- Collected over a payment link on your own Razorpay, Stripe, PhonePe or UPI — we take no cut.
A photo record for every stage
Intake, damage, in-progress, QC and handover photos filed against the job, so the condition the car arrived in is never a matter of opinion.
- The stage is what gives a photo its evidential value, so it is recorded, not optional.
- Damage shots can be filed against the specific panel whose reading was taken.
- Photos are private by default — a workshop shot can carry another customer's plate.
- An optional policy blocks completion until both a before and an after exist.
Mid-job upsell the customer can approve from their phone
Send the finding with the photo and a price to a secure link; the customer taps approve or decline, and an approved add-on flows onto the bill exactly once.
- The ask carries the photo, so it reads as a finding rather than a shakedown.
- A decline is permanent on that row — re-asking creates a new one, so the "no" stays on the record.
- An add-on is billed once; the billed state is terminal.
- The link is signed and expires in 14 days, because the car is on the ramp now.
Bay-days, not appointment slots
Model each bay and what it can take, then answer "can we start this car on Thursday?" against real capacity instead of a diary.
- Availability is matched on capability — a PPF job needs a dust-free room, a wash does not.
- Intervals are half-open, so a job ending at 17:00 and one starting at 17:00 do not collide.
- Multi-day jobs hold the bay for their whole run, in your own timezone.
- Revenue is prorated across the window, so a job spanning month-end does not distort either month.
Warranty cover and the inspections that keep it valid
Issue cover on completion with a term and an inspection cadence, then remind the owner on WhatsApp at 30, 7 and 0 days before the inspection window closes.
- Live, inspection-due, lapsed, expired and void are derived from the dates, not stored as a status that drifts.
- Cover is issued only when the service carries terms — a wash never mints a certificate.
- The reminder names the days remaining, because that is the fact that gets the car booked in.
- Reminders fire on exact day offsets, so a daily job sends three messages over a month, not thirty.
- Cover is issued once per job, so re-completing a booking never mints a second certificate.
What each job actually cost you
Expand every job through its recipe — 20ml of coating, three microfibres, two applicators — and see revenue, consumable cost and margin per job.
- Consumables are tracked to three decimal places, so a 20ml draw off a 50ml bottle is a real movement.
- Cost is recomputed at current recipe and current material cost — a pricing tool, not an accounting record.
- Consumables only: labour, bay time and rent are not in it, and the report says so.
- Two ₹22,000 jobs stop looking identical when one burned three times the coating.
Who found the extra work
Extra work proposed per technician and what it earned, attributed to the person who walked round the car and spotted it.
- Reported by when the ask was raised, not when the customer answered — it measures the technician's act.
- The basis is stated in the report, so a month's figure is not mistaken for cash banked that month.
- Makes upsell commission payable on a number both sides can see.
Handover album, sent to the customer
Send the before-and-after set when the car is ready — over your own WhatsApp number when that is open, and by email when it is not. The message that gets reshared.
- Before and after are sent first, so a long job trims from the middle, never the payoff.
- Only photos you marked customer-visible are sent.
- Consent and the 24-hour messaging window are checked first; the album lands by email when WhatsApp is unavailable, and a partial send says so.
History by number plate
Every past visit for a plate — services, spend and gaps between visits — pulled from both bookings and counter sales.
- Plates are normalised, so "KA05MZ1234", "KA 05 MZ 1234" and "ka-05-mz-1234" are one vehicle.
- Visits count distinct days, so a job and the bill it produced are one visit, not two.
- Spend counts money actually received, so an unpaid order cannot inflate a customer's value.
- Vehicle size can carry a price adjustment, so an SUV is not quoted at hatchback rates.
Your own WhatsApp number, not a shared one
Connect your number to the official WhatsApp Cloud API and run enquiries, approvals, reminders and handovers from one inbox.
- Your WhatsApp Business Account stays yours — Meta bills you directly and we add no markup.
- Opt-outs, the 24-hour service window and daily send caps are enforced in code, not left to you.
- Every message sent on your behalf is logged, so "I got a message from you" has an answer.
- Rolling out via Meta’s official API — activates on approval.
GST invoices that a CA will accept
Rule 46 tax invoices with GSTIN, HSN/SAC, CGST/SGST or IGST by place of supply, and a consecutive serial per financial year.
- Inter-state supply is charged IGST rather than a CGST/SGST split.
- Invoice serials are unique per business and allocated consecutively within the financial year.
- GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries are generated on your own business day, not a UTC one.
- Non-Indian studios get a VAT or plain commercial invoice instead — the document follows the tax regime.
One job, enquiry to annual inspection
- 1
Take the enquiry on WhatsApp
The enquiry arrives on your number and becomes a lead with the vehicle attached. Nothing is retyped and nothing scrolls away.
- 2
Measure before you quote
Walk the car with a paint gauge and record each panel. Elevated panels flag a likely repaint; thin ones say correction is not safe. The quote is now a measurement.
- 3
Hold the bay with a deposit
Send a payment link for the advance. The job cannot be started until it clears, so the bay-days you just committed are actually sold.
- 4
Photograph the intake
Intake and damage photos are filed against the job before a panel is touched — the record that settles any later dispute about how the car arrived.
- 5
Ask for the extra work with the photo
Send what you found with a price to the customer's phone. They approve or decline; an approval goes onto the bill and into what is outstanding.
- 6
Run QC before you call it done
A QC stage sits between hands-off and signed-off, optionally blocked until a before and an after photo both exist.
- 7
Hand over and bill
Send the before-and-after album on WhatsApp, take the balance, and raise a GST invoice from the same screen.
- 8
Book the annual inspection
Cover is issued with its inspection cadence. Thirty days before it is due the owner gets a WhatsApp reminder that says how long they have left.
Built for the way each kind of studio runs
Ceramic coating studios
Cover terms, annual inspections and the reminder that brings the car back. One sale becomes a scheduled visit for as long as the cover runs.
PPF installers
Film comes off a roll in fractional metres and a bay is held for days. Both are tracked as stock and as capacity, so a quote is a promise you can keep.
Paint correction specialists
Panel-by-panel depth readings decide what is safe to cut, and the reading is stored with the photos taken beside it.
Detailing with a wash bay attached
Walk-ins run through a token queue and bill at the counter; high-ticket work runs as booked jobs against bays. Both land in the same books.
Mobile and at-home detailing
Job cards, photos and payment links all work from a phone, so the record is made at the car rather than back at the unit.
Multi-branch groups
Per-outlet revenue, per-bay utilisation and one customer record across branches, so a plate seen in one unit is recognised in another.
The vocabulary this is built around
If a system does not have words for these, it was not designed for detailing.
- Paint depth reading
- A measurement in microns of how much paint and clear coat sits on a panel, taken with a paint thickness gauge. Factory finishes fall in a fairly tight band, so a markedly thicker panel suggests a respray and a thin one warns that machine correction may cut through.
- Bay-day
- One bay occupied for one working day. It is the real unit of capacity in a detailing studio: a wash bay turns twenty cars a day, a PPF bay turns one car every few days, so counting appointments tells you nothing about whether you can take the work.
- Coating inspection
- A scheduled check that a ceramic coating is performing as sold, usually annual. Most manufacturer warranties are conditional on it, which is why the reminder converts: the owner is being told their cover is about to lapse, not marketed at.
- Job add-on
- Extra work discovered after the job started — swirl marks found after the wash, chips found once film is removed. It has to be approved by the customer while the car is still in the bay, which is why it travels as a message with a photo rather than a phone call.
- Consumable recipe
- What one job takes off the shelf: a coating job might draw 20ml of product, three microfibres and two applicators. Without it, two jobs at the same price look equally profitable even when one burned three times the material.
The four things studios ask us first
“We already run on WhatsApp and a notebook.”
Then keep the WhatsApp. This connects your existing number rather than replacing it — the notebook is what gets replaced, and only for the things a notebook cannot do: gate a job on a deposit, hold a photo, or remember a coating is due for inspection in eleven months.
“My team will not use another app.”
The technician's side is a phone screen with the job on it: take the intake photos, record the readings, send the add-on. Everything else is the front desk. If a step needs training, it is the wrong step.
“We are one bay and two people.”
The free plan carries the job card, the paint readings, the photo record and warranty cover, so you can run the intake discipline without paying anything. Your own WhatsApp number, GST invoicing and vehicle history need Starter at ₹1,999. Deposits arrive on Growth, which is about when you start turning work away.
“What happens to my data if we leave?”
It is yours. Customers, jobs, invoices and photos export, and you can request deletion of the whole workspace from inside the product — with financial records retained only where tax law requires it.
No one has vouched for us yet. Here is what you can check instead.
Six facts about what we cannot do to you. Every one is verifiable without taking our word for it.
Your WhatsApp number never becomes ours
You connect your own WhatsApp Business Account. If you leave, you keep the number, the chat history and the approved templates, because they were never held on our account. There is nothing to migrate back and nothing to ask us for.
We take 0% of your sales
Payments run on your own Razorpay, Stripe, PhonePe or UPI, and settle to you. We are a software vendor, not a payment aggregator — the subscription is the whole of our revenue.
Meta bills you directly for WhatsApp
Conversation charges go from Meta to you at Meta’s published rates. We do not resell them and we add no markup, so there is no margin for us in you sending more messages.
Everything exports, whenever you want
Customers, jobs, invoices, payments and photos come out as JSON or CSV from inside the product. You do not have to ask, and it is not a retention lever.
See for yourself →Cancel yourself, from the billing screen
No email, no notice period, no retention call. Month to month, and the free plan is still there underneath if you want to keep the records without paying.
See for yourself →Ask for deletion and it actually happens
Your public pages go offline immediately, then a 30-day grace period you can cancel the whole way through, then the workspace is purged. Financial records are kept only where tax law requires them, and anonymised when they are.
See for yourself →There are no testimonials on this page, and we are not going to invent any
We are early, and no detailing studio has given us a quote yet. Rather than write one, we left the space empty and put a test in the build that fails if a customer quote ever appears without a name, a business and a record of their permission. Everything else here is a description of software you can check by signing up for free.
Questions detailing studios ask
What is the best software for a car detailing studio?
The right system for a detailing studio has to do four things a general booking app does not: hold a bay for multi-day work, take a deposit before consumables are committed, carry a photo record of every stage, and bring coating customers back for their annual inspection. Anilfy does those on one system with your own WhatsApp number, and starts at a free plan.
Can I take a deposit before starting a ceramic coating or PPF job?
Yes. You can require an advance on a booking, collect it by payment link, and the job cannot be started until it clears. Deposits are on the Growth plan (₹5,999) and above.
How do I record paint thickness readings?
Record a micron reading per panel across thirteen panels on the job card. Each reading is classified as thin, factory, elevated or likely repaint, with bumpers judged against a plastic substrate, and the set is stored with the intake photos as one record.
Does it track ceramic coating warranties and send inspection reminders?
Yes. Cover is issued when the job completes, with a term and an inspection cadence you set, and the owner is reminded at 30, 7 and 0 days before the inspection window closes with a message that says how long is left. Issuing and tracking cover is on every plan; sending the reminder over your own WhatsApp number needs Starter or above.
Do I need my own WhatsApp Business API number?
Yes, and that is deliberate. You connect your own number to the official WhatsApp Cloud API, so the account stays yours and Meta bills you directly at their rates. We add no markup and you are not renting a shared sender.
Can it price by vehicle size?
Yes. A vehicle size can carry a price adjustment, so an SUV is not quoted at hatchback rates. It is applied before any discount is worked out, so a surcharge cannot be turned into a discount by the pricing engine.
How do I know which jobs actually made money?
The job margin report expands every job through its consumable recipe at current material costs and shows revenue, cost and margin per job. It covers consumables only — labour, bay time and rent are not included, and the report states that.
Does it handle GST invoices?
Yes. Invoices follow CGST Rule 46 with GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, a CGST/SGST split or IGST by place of supply, and a consecutive serial per financial year. GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B summaries are generated on your own business day.
Can my technicians use it on a phone in the bay?
Yes. Job cards, stage photos, paint readings and payment links all work from a phone, so the record is made at the car rather than reconstructed at a desk afterwards.
What does it cost?
A full detailing setup starts at ₹1,999 a month, with a 14-day trial and no card to start it. There is also a free plan, but it is the bio-link tier: it carries job cards, paint readings, the photo record and warranty tracking, and does not include your own WhatsApp number, GST invoicing or vehicle history. WhatsApp conversation charges are billed to you by Meta at their own rates and we do not mark them up.
Can I move my existing customer and vehicle records in?
Yes. Customers import from a spreadsheet, and vehicles attach to them by number plate. Plates are normalised on the way in, so the same car written three different ways in your old records becomes one vehicle.
Does it work for a studio outside India?
Yes for the operations — bays, deposits, photo evidence, warranties and WhatsApp all work anywhere. Invoicing follows your tax regime, with VAT invoices for the UAE, UK, EU and Saudi Arabia and a plain commercial invoice where no statutory format applies.
Detailing studio software by city
Same product everywhere. These pages exist because a studio owner searches for their own city, and a page that says the city name is the one that answers them.
Start with the intake photos
It is the smallest change with the fastest payback, and it is on the free plan: one job where the record settles a dispute covers a year of the subscription. Move up when you want your own WhatsApp number and GST invoicing on it.
